Role Overview

Infosys is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Data Scientist to develop advanced machine learning models, extract actionable insights from large datasets, and support business transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess solid statistical knowledge, programming expertise, and experience applying AI/ML techniques to solve complex business problems.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and predictive analytics solutions.
- Build data pipelines and preprocess large datasets for modeling and analysis.
- Apply statistical techniques and data mining methods to solve business challenges.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and domain experts to define analytical solutions.
- Develop recommendation systems, forecasting models, classification algorithms, and NLP-based applications.




- Validate model performance and optimize algorithms for scalability and accuracy.
- Communicate findings and recommendations through dashboards, reports, and presentations.
- Monitor deployed models and ensure continuous improvement and model governance.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Generative AI.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Advanced Analytics.
- Strong proficiency in Python and/or R.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and machine learning algorithms.
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Matplotlib.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
