We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to independently manage UK audit engagements and supervise audit associates. The role requires strong technical knowledge of ISA (UK), hands-on audit execution, and the ability to effectively liaise with UK managers and teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Audit Planning & Supervision

- Prepare and review audit planning documentation.
- Identify significant risks and determine appropriate audit responses.
- Allocate work to audit associates and review their output.
- Ensure compliance with UK firm methodologies and audit standards.

2. Substantive Audit Execution

- Independently perform and review audit testing for complex areas, including:
- Revenue recognition
- Estimates and judgments
- Provisions and going concern

- Review audit working papers for quality, accuracy, and completeness.
- Summarise audit findings and identified misstatements.

3. Audit Completion & Review

- Prepare audit completion memorandums.
- Perform subsequent events and going concern reviews.
- Address and clear review notes raised by UK managers and partners.
- Support financial statement tie-ups and disclosure checks.

4. Client & UK Team Coordination

- Act as the primary offshore point of contact for UK managers.
- Participate in audit status calls and maintain project trackers.




- Ensure timely and high-quality delivery, particularly during peak audit season.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth execution of audit engagements.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- CA / ACCA Qualified or Finalist preferred.
- 3- 5 years of UK audit experience.
- Strong working knowledge of:
- ISA (UK)
- FRS 102
- IFRS

- Hands-on experience in reviewing audit files and supervising junior team members.
- Strong documentation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and audit software.
- Experience with CaseWare / CCH is preferred.

Preferred Skills

- Experience working in audit outsourcing or offshore delivery models.
- Exposure to group audits and component audits.
- Experience with Inflo or MyWorkpapers.
