About the Role

Star Media Network is looking for an energetic and result-oriented Business Development Manager to join our Bengaluru team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth through effective sales and business development strategies.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop new business opportunities across Bengaluru and surrounding markets.
- Generate leads through networking, market research, references, and direct outreach.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, agencies, brands, and business partners.
- Understand client requirements and propose suitable media, advertising, and marketing solutions.
- Prepare and deliver business proposals, presentations, and commercial negotiations.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales and revenue targets.
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline and regularly update management on business opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of client campaigns and commitments.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities.
- Represent Star Media Network professionally at client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities.

Candidate Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration,



Marketing, Mass Communication, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Media, Advertising, Digital Marketing, or related industries.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
- Proven ability to generate leads and convert prospects into clients.
- Target-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Good knowledge of the Bengaluru business and media market.
- Willingness to travel within Bengaluru for client meetings when required.

Language Requirements

Candidates must be proficient in:

- Kannada
- Tamil
- Telugu

Solid English communication skills are also required.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Female candidates are preferred for this position, particularly candidates with solid local market knowledge, excellent communication skills, and experience in client relationship management and business development.
