As a System Administrator at Kyndryl, you ll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. You ll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients - which means some of the biggest in the world.
There s never a typical day as a System Administrator at Kyndryl, because no two projects are alike. You ll be managing systems data for clients and providing day-to-day solutions and security compliance. You ll oversee a queue of assignments and work directly with technicians, prioritizing tickets to deliver the best solutions to our clients.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Strong experience with CA7, Control-M, and Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS).
- Hands-on expertise in JCL, batch operations, and workload automation.
- Experience managing job dependencies, scheduling workflows, and production batch environments.
- Knowledge of scheduling architecture, operational recovery, incident management,
and change management processes.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019 administration and support.
- Working knowledge of VMware ESX/ESXi environments.
- Experience managing public and private cloud platforms, including on-premises to cloud migrations.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills in enterprise production environments.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
- Expertise in mainframe workload scheduling using CA7, Control-M, and TWS.
- Experience with batch job scheduling, SLA management, dependency design, calendars, triggers, and workflow optimization.
- Knowledge of z/OS, JES2/JES3, SDSF, and operational monitoring tools.
- Experience with automation scripting (REXX, CLIST, PowerShell, or similar).
- Familiarity with enterprise batch recovery, disaster recovery, and operational resilience practices.
- Experience supporting application releases, infrastructure changes, and production deployments.
- Strong understanding of ITIL Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
- Experience integrating scheduling platforms with monitoring, ticketing, and automation tools.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and workload automation modernization initiatives.
- Experience with vulnerability management, Microsoft Active Directory, and Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS).
- Excellent documentation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Experience supporting 24x7 mission-critical enterprise environments.
