SHIPPING EXECUTIVE

Scan Holdings is a leading Exporter of Metal packaging for Food and Beverage industries. The company is recruiting Shipping Executive for managing shipments for export sales across the globe. This is a very responsible position which requires good commercial and analytical capabilities and motivation to handle responsibilities independently.

Qualifications required:

- Any Post graduate/ MBA/Graduate with proven capability of handling shipping, excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Must have good command on Microsoft Word, Excel and Power-point, SAP, Google sheets, Emails and internet.
- Should have valuable spoken and written English.
- This is an office job and also suitable for female candidates.

Experience: 2-7 years

Salary: 2.5 Lakh to 4.5 Lakh per annum depending on qualification, skills and experience. Performance based incentives on confirmation after completing probation period.

Job responsibilities:

To handle all export related commercial activities of the business

- Shipping, Shipment planning, Book shipments, dealing with shipping lines
- Freight Negotiation
- Shipment planning according to readiness of goods for timely delivery to customer.
- Customers shipments record maintenance according to orders




- Follow up for Bill of Lading
- Maintaining records of shipments, freights etc.

Skills Required:

- The applicant should be hard working and honest with good communication skills, analytical ability and team spirit.
- Negotiation skills for freight and shipment planning for moving goods from factory to customer well in advance.
- Knowledge of Export documents and dealing with clearing agents.
- The person should be a self-starter who can initiate actions on his own and take responsibilities to manage the diversified needs of the growing organisation.
