About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and result-oriented Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial vision and governance of a large, reputed manufacturing organization. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in financial leadership within complex manufacturing environments, complemented by hands-on experience in the Defence & Aerospace sector.

This role will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, driving financial strategy, capital efficiency, governance, and long-term value creation.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

- Define and execute the organizations financial strategy aligned with business objectives
- Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Board, providing insights on growth, investments, and risk
- Drive long-term financial planning, including expansion, diversification, and capital allocation

Financial Management & Governance

- Oversee end-to-end finance functions: Controllership, Treasury, Taxation, FP&A;, Audit, Compliance
- Ensure robust financial controls, governance frameworks, and regulatory compliance
- Lead statutory audits, internal audits, and liaison with regulatory authorities

Fundraising & Capital Strategy

- Lead fundraising initiatives including debt, equity, and structured financing
- Manage relationships with banks, investors, and financial institutions
- Drive capital restructuring, working capital optimization, and cost efficiency

Business Partnering

- Collaborate with business heads to drive profitability, cost optimization, and operational efficiency
- Provide financial insights for large-scale manufacturing and capex decisions
- Evaluate M&A; opportunities, joint ventures,



and strategic alliances

Defence & Aerospace Financial Expertise

- Bring understanding of defence contracts, government compliance, and project-based financial structures
- Ensure adherence to industry-specific regulatory frameworks and audit standards

Team Leadership

- Build and mentor a high-performing finance team
- Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement

Candidate Profile (Strict Mandates)

- Current Role: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) (Mandatory)
- Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory
- Experience: Minimum 20+ years of progressive financial leadership
- Industry Background:

- Current/Recent: Large Manufacturing / Industrial Organization
- Mandatory: Minimum 5 years experience in Defence & Aerospace sector

- Compensation Benchmark: Currently drawing 60 LPA or above
- Leadership Exposure: Experience working with Board / CXO level stakeholders
- Location Flexibility: Open to relocate to Delhi NCR
