Role & responsibilities

* Float RFQs and obtain competitive quotations from vendors.

* Prepare technical and commercial comparison statements.

* Issue Purchase Orders and follow up for timely deliveries.

* Coordinate with project teams for material requirements and site consumables.

* Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new vendors.

* Track material dispatches, logistics and pending deliveries.

* Maintain procurement records, vendor database and purchase MIS.

* Support cost optimization through effective vendor negotiations

Preferred candidate profile

* Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (preferred).

* 26 years of experience in procurement/purchase for Electrical EPC, Industrial Projects or MEP.

* Knowledge of electrical materials such as cables, cable trays, switchgear, panels, transformers, instrumentation, earthing materials, etc.

* Good working knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems.

* Strong negotiation, communication and coordination skills.
