Job Summary

Responsible for programming, setting up, and optimizing CNC/VMC machines to manufacture precision components as per engineering drawings while ensuring quality, productivity, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Create and optimize CNC programs (G-code/M-code) for VMC/CNC machines.
- Interpret engineering drawings and CAD/CAM models.
- Set up machines, tools, fixtures, and work offsets.
- Perform prove-out and first-piece inspection before production.
- Optimize machining parameters to improve cycle time and tool life.
- Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments.
- Troubleshoot programming and machining issues.
- Ensure preventive machine maintenance and adherence to safety standards.

Skills & Requirements





- Robust knowledge of G-code/M-code programming.
- Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and GD&T.;
- Experience with 3-axis/5-axis VMCs and CNC Lathes (Fanuc, Haas, Siemens).
- Hands-on experience with CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, SolidCAM, NX, PowerMill, or similar).
- Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and height gauges.
- Diploma/ITI/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
