- Develop and implement the company's financial strategy aligned with business growth objectives.
- Prepare annual business plans, budgets, forecasts and financial projections.
- Advise the Managing Director and Board on financial performance and strategic decisions.
- Drive profitability and return on capital.
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
- Monitor profitability, business performance and key financial indicators.
- Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop financial models for business expansion and current products.
Treasury & Fund Management
- Manage liquidity and working capital.
- Optimize borrowing costs.
- Monitor cash flow and treasury operations.
- Ensure optimum deployment of funds.
Capital Raising & Investor Relations
- Lead fund-raising initiatives through banks, financial institutions, PE/VC investors and other funding agencies.
- Coordinate due diligence exercises.
- Prepare investor presentations and financial information.
- Maintain relationships with investors,
lenders and credit rating agencies.
Accounting & Financial Control
- Ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts.
- Supervise monthly and annual financial closing.
- Strengthen internal financial controls.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and RBI regulations.
RBI & Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with RBI regulations applicable to NBFCs.
- Coordinate statutory, internal and RBI inspections.
- Submit all regulatory returns within prescribed timelines.
Risk Management
- Identify financial and operational risks.
- Implement risk mitigation measures.
- Strengthen internal controls and governance practices.
Preferred candidate profile
- Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in CA or MBA.
- Experience in Finance, Treasury, Accounting and Taxation.
- Prior experience in an NBFC or Financial Services organization is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in raising funds from investors and financial institutions.
