We are looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer to build and scale the infrastructure and delivery pipelines behind our [product/platform]. You will work closely with engineering teams to automate deployments, improve reliability, and manage cloud infrastructure as code.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins / GitLab CI / GitHub Actions
- Provision and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot containerized workloads on Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE)
- Set up observability across services logging, metrics, alerting and dashboards (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, Datadog)
- Automate routine operations through Python / Bash / Go scripting
- Drive cost optimisation, capacity planning and performance tuning across cloud environments
- Implement security best practices — IAM policies, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and compliance controls
- Participate in on-call rotation, incident response, and post-incident reviews




- Collaborate with development teams to improve release velocity and reduce deployment failures

Required Skills & Experience

- 6–9 years of hands-on DevOps / Cloud Engineering experience
- Robust working knowledge of AWS (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, EKS, Lambda) — Azure or GCP experience also considered
- Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Proficiency in Terraform (or CloudFormation / Pulumi) for infrastructure automation
- Solid scripting skills in Python or Bash
- Experience with Linux system administration and networking fundamentals
- Familiarity with Git-based workflows and branching strategies

Good to Have

- Cloud certifications — AWS Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer, CKA/CKAD
- Experience with service mesh (Istio, Linkerd), Helm, ArgoCD or GitOps workflows
- Exposure to database administration and data pipeline infrastructure
- Understanding of SRE practices — SLIs, SLOs, error budgets
