We are currently seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Merchandizer to join our dynamic team
Position Overview
The Senior Merchandizer plays a crucial role in managing the production process, ensuring garments are
made according to client specifications, and coordinating across departments. This role is vital to ensuring
production runs smoothly, on schedule, and meets client expectations.
Job Responsibilities
• Receive and confirm client orders, including specifications, quantities, and delivery timelines; track each
order from receipt through production to final delivery.
• Accurately communicate order details to the production team and ensure they are processed correctly.
• Collaborate with the production team to plan sewing schedules that align with client deadlines.
• Work closely with the cutting, sewing, and finishing departments to ensure garments are produced to
approved samples and specifications.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of fabric, thread, and other
production materials.
• Maintain regular communication with clients on order progress, promptly addressing any concerns or
changes in requirements.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials from suppliers to avoid production delays, and maintain strong
vendor relationships for a smooth supply chain.
• Prepare cost estimates and ensure production stays within the allocated budget. • Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely and accurate shipment of finished goods.
Job Requirements
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Experience
• 5-10 years of experience in a Merchandiser role, preferably within a sewing or garment manufacturing
factory.
Skills
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Robust analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Language
• Proficiency in English and the local language.
