Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Oracle PBCS Functional Consultant to join the Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) practice. The ideal candidate should have strong functional expertise in Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS), along with experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, reporting, and Oracle EPM Cloud implementations.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Implementation

- Gather and analyze business requirements related to planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Design end-to-end Oracle PBCS solutions, including data models, business rules, calculations, workflows,



and metadata.
- Configure Oracle PBCS applications, dimensions, hierarchies, security, and forms.
- Develop dashboards, reports, task lists, and planning applications.
- Participate in the complete project lifecycle from requirements gathering to post-production support.

Functional & Process Expertise

- Map finance and budgeting processes to Oracle PBCS capabilities.
- Design driver-based planning models, rolling forecasts, and scenario planning.
- Support budgeting, management reporting, and financial consolidation.
- Collaborate with finance teams and integrate Oracle PBCS with ERP and reporting systems.

Configuration, Testing & Documentation

- Configure business rules, calculations, allocations, and validations.
- Support data integration, mappings, and data management activities.
- Prepare and execute Unit Testing, SIT, and UAT.
- Develop functional specifications, configuration documents, user manuals, and training materials.

Stakeholder Management

- Act as the primary functional consultant for Oracle PBCS implementations.
- Conduct workshops, end-user training, and knowledge transfer sessions.
- Provide production support, issue resolution,



and enhancement recommendations.
- Work closely with project managers, technical teams, and client stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills

- CA or MBA (Finance) from a recognized institution.
- 5+ years of overall experience, including 3–4 years of hands-on Oracle PBCS / Oracle EPM Cloud / Hyperion Planning functional consulting.
- Experience in designing and implementing Oracle PBCS planning applications.
- Expertise in dimensions, metadata, data forms, business rules, calculations, and allocations.
- Strong knowledge of:

- Budgeting
- Forecasting
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;)
- Variance Analysis
- Scenario Planning

- Understanding of Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and Financial Reporting.
- Experience with Data Management, Data Integration, Flat File Loads, and ERP Integration.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Oracle EPM Cloud modules such as:

- EPBCS
- FCCS
- ARCS
- PCMCS

- Oracle EPM Cloud / PBCS Certifications.
- Experience with Oracle ERP Cloud or Oracle E-Business Suite.
- Knowledge of Groovy, Calculation Scripts, and EPM Automate.
- Experience working on global or multi-country implementation projects.
