QAD ERP Sr. Business Analyst

We are seeking a seasoned QAD ERP Business Analyst to support, optimize, and expand our ERP environment. This role sits at the intersection of business process expertise and system configuration, with a solid focus on Order to Cash and Finance functional areas.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Serve as the primary functional expert for QAD ERP across Order to Cash (OTC) and Finance modules
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather, document, and translate requirements into system solutions
- Lead and support QAD configuration, testing, and deployment activities
- Analyze and troubleshoot ERP issues; drive root cause analysis and resolution
- Develop functional specifications, process maps, and user documentation
- Coordinate and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Provide end-user training and post-go-live hypercare support
- Collaborate with technical teams on customizations, reports, and integrations
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities across ERP-supported processes
- Support upgrade, patch, and migration projects as needed

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 10+ years of hands-on QAD ERP functional experience in a manufacturing environment
- Deep expertise in at least two of the following functional areas:

- Order to Cash: sales order management, customer invoicing, AR, collections
- Finance: GL, AP, AR, cost accounting, financial reporting





- Proven ability to manage full project lifecycle: requirements design test deploy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills; able to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
- Bachelor s degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)

PREFERRED / NICE-TO-HAVE

- Familiarity with QAD database schema and underlying data model
- Exposure to Progress 4GL programming language (read/interpret code level minimum)
- Experience with QAD Enterprise Edition (EE) or QAD Adaptive ERP
- Knowledge of manufacturing business processes: production planning, inventory, procurement
- Experience supporting EDI, third-party integrations, or BI/reporting tools
