Summary:We are seeking a highly experienced RTOS Lead to architect and lead the development of real-time operating system (RTOS) platforms for automotive ECUs. The ideal candidate will drive system design, integration, and validation across safety-critical and performance-sensitive domains such as powertrain, chassis, ADAS, and body electronics.
Roles & Responsibilities:Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of RTOS-based embedded platforms for automotive applications.
- Define system architecture, task scheduling strategies, and inter-process communication mechanisms.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and safety teams to ensure seamless integration and compliance.
- Drive compliance with ISO 26262 (functional safety), ASPICE, and ISO 21434 (cybersecurity).
- Optimize system performance, latency, and resource utilization.
- Manage RTOS configurations, BSPs, and device drivers for automotive-grade microcontrollers and SoCs.
- Interface with Tier-1 suppliers, tool vendors,



and OEMs to align platform requirements.
- Mentor and guide embedded engineers across multiple vehicle programs.
- Own the RTOS platform roadmap and contribute to long-term software strategy.
- Conduct testing and debugging of functionalities to ensure functionality and quality.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting system issues.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams across globe

Professional & Technical

Skills:

Technical Experience:
- Overall, 12+ years of experience in Infotainment domain with experience in Android Development.
- Solid experience in RTOS development (e.g., FreeRTOS, Zephyr, QNX, VxWorks, AUTOSAR OS).
- Proficiency in embedded C/C++, task scheduling, and low-level debugging.
- Deep understanding of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
- Experience with safety-critical systems and real-time constraints.
- Familiarity with bootloaders, memory management, and interrupt handling.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Excellent problem solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a cross functional team
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional Information:
- Bachelor's or Master's in computers, Electronics, or any related stream
