Purpose/Objective

Process planning of current components.
Cycle time estimation and CNC programming.
Prove out of part on machine and achieve cycle time and quality.
First part approval from customer.
Process improvement and documentation.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Define manufacturing process and development of new parts, sub assembly and assembly.
CNC programming and parts prove out on CNC machines with first time right concept.
Selection of cutting tools and prove out on machines.
Jigs, Fixture & gauges design and manufacturing.
Problem solving & trouble shooting.
First part approval form customer.
Process documentation as per quality systems.
Process improvement & cycle time reduction.
Prepare monthly reports.

Technical Competencies

Qualifications and Experience

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Must: Diploma/BE Mechanical Desirable Six Sigma Certified APQP & PPAP DOCUMENTATION KNOWLEDGE AS PER ISO 9001:2008 Relevant EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 8 years related experience Team Player.
Analytical Skills.
Excellent Communication & Interpersonal Skills.
Desirable: Working Experience in Defence Sector Defence parts development knowledge is beneficial.
