Job Purpose

This is an analysis engineer role and is based in Hyderabad. The role requires performing FEA analysis of subsea production systems and Surface Equipment products. The analyst creates, reviews, and analyzes designs to ensure compliance with technical specifications, functionality, and constructability.

Major Responsibility Areas:

- Review and interpret customer technical specifications and industry codes.
- Create and review technical documents (specifications, drawings, design documents, analysis reports, etc.) for existing or recent technology or applications.
- Use sound engineering judgment, classical calculations, and analysis programs to analyze designs and generate new designs.
- Participate in design reviews and provide specialist piping, jumper, or flowline design advice to other engineers.
- Provide recommendations for optimizing designs to ensure functionality and manufacturability.
- Independently develop solutions to problems by analyzing, interpreting, and evaluating data. Anticipate potential problems and take preventative actions.
- Responsible for the quality and on-time delivery of assigned tasks.
- Ensure good personal time management and weekly time entry into the SAP system.
- Provide input to and support improvements to processes or work instructions.
- Ensure that assignments conform to TechnipFMC guidelines and specifications.
- Understand and comply with TechnipFMC HSE & Quality policies.

You are meant for this job if:

- BE or MTech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 10+ years of relevant industry experience with a background in analyzing subsea/surface equipment preferred.
- Ansys or Abaqus tool knowledge is a must.
- Knowledge of industry-specific design codes like ASME, API, DNV, NORSK, and ISO.




- Experience in Oil and Gas equipment finite element analysis.
- Should be able to do hands-on Finite Element analysis.
- Experience with high pressurized equipment/Boiler vessels/Heavy Engineering.
- Must be able to verify and substantiate FEA results with classical hand calculation methods.
- Proficient in Non-Linear analysis, Structural, and Thermal analysis.
- Experience with welded and bolted structure analysis.
- Must be able to work hands-on and guide team members.
- Must be able to estimate, plan, and meet individual work requirements.
- Should be able to perform technical design reviews and recommend improvements.
- Must be able to participate in technical review meetings and discussions.
- Must be able to write, review, and approve technical reports and documents.
- Ensure lessons learned and best practices are captured adequately into Analysis techniques, project/product design.
