Job Summary

Oversee all aspects of the production process, including assembly, fabrication, welding, and EOL testing.

Responsibilities

- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand while maintaining efficient use of resources
- Monitor production processes and adjust production schedules as needed to maintain quality standards and meet customer requirements
- Manage and train production staff, ensuring that all staff members are trained to perform their duties efficiently and safely
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure that materials and supplies are available when needed
- Develop and implement safety procedures and guidelines to ensure that all production processes are performed safely
- Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and logistics, to improve production processes and meet customer requirements
- Ensure that all production processes comply with industry standards and regulations
- Understanding of product design and development processes, including design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA)
- Familiarity with automation and robotics in manufacturing environments




- Provide regular reports to senior management on production progress, efficiency, and any issues that arise
- Experience with quality control systems and methodologies
- Understanding of statistical process control and other quality monitoring tools
- Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
- Knowledge of ISO, TS, or other quality management system standards
- Ability to develop and implement quality control processes and procedures
- Attention to detail and a focus on maintaining quality standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Sound knowledge of SAP
- Robust knowledge of process improvement methodologies, such as Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and reliability
