JOB DESCRIPTION Cost Estimation & Bidding Manager Department: Estimation & Tendering Designation: Cost Estimation & Bidding Manager Industry: Interior Designing – Commercial & Co-working Spaces Experience: 4+ Years Employment Type: Full-time Location: Sec 32, Gurgaon Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Cost Estimation & Bidding Manager to manage the end-to end estimation and tendering process for commercial interior fit-out and co-working space projects. The candidate should have expertise in quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, vendor coordination, cost analysis, and submission of competitive bids. Key Responsibilities • Review architectural drawings, tender documents, specifications, and project requirements. • Prepare detailed cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ). • Analyze project scope and identify cost optimization opportunities. • Obtain quotations from vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers and conduct comparative analysis. • Prepare and submit technical and commercial bids within timelines. • Coordinate with design, procurement, execution, and business development teams. • Negotiate prices and commercial terms with vendors and subcontractors. • Maintain databases of material costs, labour rates, and historical project costing. • Participate in pre-bid meetings and resolve tender-related queries.



• Monitor market trends and pricing to ensure competitive bidding. • Support project budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis. Required Skills & Competencies • Knowledge of interior fit-out estimation and tendering processes. • Expertise in BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and cost planning. • Understanding of commercial office interiors and co-working space standards. • Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation software/tools. • Ability to interpret architectural, MEP, and furniture drawings. • Robust analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Educational Qualification Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or related field. Preferred Experience Minimum 4 years of experience in cost estimation and bidding within the interior designing industry, specifically handling commercial office fit-outs and co-working projects. Key Result Areas (KRAs) • Timely submission of accurate project estimates and tenders. • Achievement of targeted bid conversion ratios. • Optimization of project costs while maintaining quality standards. • Maintenance of an updated vendor and pricing database. • Compliance with client requirements and tender specifications.
