Engineers with a minimum of 5 years of handson experience in Procurement / SCM / Purchase are invited to apply for the following roles:

- Engineer Capex & Services
- Procurement of plant and machinery, production equipment, infrastructure items and capex projects
- Vendor evaluation, technocommercial negotiations, contract finalisation and longterm service agreements

- Engineer – Tools & Services

- Sourcing and lifecycle management of cutting tools, gauges, jigs, fixtures and industrial services
- Supplier development, rate contracts, consumption monitoring and cost optimisation initiatives

- Engineer – Commodity & Consumables

- Procurement of production consumables, standard parts, industrial supplies and indirect materials
- Inventory planning, MOQ/rate agreement finalisation and supplier performance tracking

- Engineer – Plastics, Rubbers, Technological Parts & NonMetal Items

- Sourcing of moulded/plastic parts, rubber components, seals, gaskets, hoses, composites and other nonmetallic items
- Development of new vendors, tooling coordination, quality approvals and cost/leadtime improvement

- Engineer – Castings

- Procurement and development of foundries for CI/SG iron, steel and special castings for machine tools and industrial products
- Foundry capacity planning, pattern/tooling management, quality & delivery performance improvement

- Engineer – Analytics & MIS

- SCM data analytics, dashboards, KPIs and management reporting for purchase, inventory, supplier performance and cost savings
- Support digitalisation, spend analysis, risk monitoring and decisionsupport for SCM leadership





Key responsibilities (Common across roles):

- Develop and manage a reliable vendor base for assigned categories, with a focus on quality, cost, delivery and compliance.
- Drive annual costreduction and valueengineering initiatives in collaboration with Design, Production and Quality teams.
- Negotiate and finalise contracts, rate agreements and longterm arrangements with strategic suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance (OTD, quality, response time) and implement corrective actions and improvement plans.
- Ensure optimum inventory levels, timely availability of materials and adherence to production schedules.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, commercial terms, statutory and ESG/compliance requirements in procurement activities.

Desired candidate profile:

- BE / BTech (Mechanical / Production / Industrial / related disciplines) preferred; equivalent engineering background with robust industry experience may also be considered.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Procurement, SCM or Purchase in any of the following industries:
- OEMs and machine manufacturers
- Heavy engineering and industrial products
- Machine tools, industrial valves, pumps, process equipment and similar engineering segments

- Strong commercial acumen with experience in technocommercial comparison, negotiations and contract management.
- Good understanding of drawings, manufacturing processes and quality requirements in an engineering environment.
- Proficiency in ERP / SCM systems and MS Excel; exposure to data analytics / MIS will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and vendor relationship skills.
