Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lead Cloud Architect to drive the technical strategy and architecture for large-scale Data Center to AWS Cloud Migration programs. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership across migration workstreams, define cloud transformation roadmaps, design enterprise-grade AWS architectures, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful migration of mission-critical workloads.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the end-to-end architecture and technical strategy for enterprise cloud migration initiatives.
- Define migration roadmaps, governance frameworks, and execution strategies for large-scale AWS migration programs.
- Design and implement AWS Landing Zones and enterprise cloud foundations.
- Architect AWS networking solutions using VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, and Control Tower.
- Develop migration wave plans, workload sequencing strategies, and execution frameworks.
- Assess applications and infrastructure to determine appropriate migration approaches, including Rehost (Lift & Shift) and Replatform.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders, architects, project teams, and business leaders to drive migration success.
- Ensure cloud solutions align with AWS Well-Architected Framework principles.
- Provide guidance on security, reliability, scalability, operational excellence, and cost optimization.
- Lead technical workshops, architecture reviews, and migration planning sessions.
- Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership throughout project delivery.





Required Skills & Experience

- 8+ years of experience in Cloud Architecture, Infrastructure Architecture, or Cloud Transformation.
- Proven experience leading at least two large-scale Data Center to AWS Migration programs.
- Strong expertise in:
- AWS Landing Zone
- Amazon VPC
- AWS Transit Gateway
- AWS Direct Connect
- AWS Control Tower
- AWS Well-Architected Framework

- Experience designing migration wave plans and workload migration strategies.
- Robust understanding of:

- Rehost (Lift & Shift)
- Replatform
- Cloud Migration Best Practices

- Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.
- Strong documentation, presentation, and architecture governance experience.

Mandatory Certification

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional

Preferred Qualifications

- AWS Certified Security - Specialty.
- Experience within Insurance, Healthcare, or Financial Services domains.
- Experience with enterprise-scale cloud governance and security frameworks.
- Knowledge of hybrid cloud and multi-cloud architectures.
