Key responsibilities:

1.Lead and manage daily CAM operations, ensuring on-time delivery, quality, and productivity of CAM machining programs.

2.Collaborate closely with CNC teams to optimize machining strategies and CAM programming parameters for efficient mold manufacturing.

3.Manage production planning, task scheduling, and resource allocation within the CAM section, and make flexible adjustments based on business and production requirements.

4.Collaborate with the CAD team to review 3D technical drawings and shoe lasts for manufacturability, ensuring that textures, logos, and design features are accurately translated into CAM machining programs.

5.Establish, implement, and continuously improve SOPs, work instructions, and technical standards for CAM operations.

6.Monitor departmental budgets and analyze material consumption data generated by CAM software to support accurate cost estimation and resource planning for current mold projects.

7.Oversee the procurement, utilization, and maintenance of cutting tools (e.g., end mills and engraving tools),



and manage spare parts inventory to ensure operational readiness and production efficiency.

8.Manage and support SLA 3D printing operations and related technical applications as required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

1. B.E /B. tech., M.E/M.tech in Mechanical Engineering , Diploma in footwear industry.

2. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in converting 3D digital designs into physical molds through automated machining & experience in leading or supervising production operators or technical teams

3. Expertise in CAM Programming (PowerMill/ Mastercam) able to generate & optimize complex 3-axis to 5-axis toolpaths includes specialized textures, logos, and precise "parting lines" for EVA/Rubber molds.

4. Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in Thomas cutting die manufacturing processes, including automatic steel rule bending, welding repair, laser cutting, die adjustment and forming, and die assembly.

5. Ability to establish and execute SOPs, work instructions, and provide on-the-job technical training and knowledge transfer.
