Role & responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the shredder plant, drier plant and related material handling systems.
- Monitor production, ensure achievement of shift targets (output, quality, and efficiency).
- Allocate manpower, assign jobs and monitor operators during the shift.
- Ensure proper start-up, shutdown, and smooth running of all equipment.
- Coordinate with maintenance team for breakdowns and preventive maintenance of shredder, drier and conveyors.
- Implement and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety practices in the plant.
- Check quality of processed aluminium and ensure that parameters (moisture, size, contamination) are within limits.
- Maintain production logs, shift reports, and basic ERP/Excel entries as required.




- Train and guide plant operators and helpers on secure and efficient operation.

Preferred candidate profile

- Diploma / ITI / Graduate with experience in manufacturing or process plants.
- 25 years of experience as Supervisor / Shift Incharge in aluminium, metal, recycling, or similar plants (shredder, drier, crusher, or material handling).indeed+1
- Basic knowledge of mechanical equipment (motors, gearboxes, conveyors) and plant operations.
- Good understanding of safety practices, PPE use, and safe work procedures.
- Ability to handle manpower, communicate clearly, and manage shift activities.
