Purpose/Objective

The person will be responsible for managing end-to-end land acquisition and liaison activities for Gare Palma IV/8 Coal Mines.
The role involves coordinating with government authorities, landowners, legal entities, and internal stakeholders to facilitate land acquisition, ensure regulatory compliance, obtain statutory approvals, and support smooth mining operations.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Key Responsibilities - Lead and manage all land acquisition activities for the coal mining project.
- Prepare and review legal documents, agreements, deeds, contracts, and other documentation related to land procurement.
- Build and maintain relationships with landowners, government authorities, local communities, and other stakeholders.
- Liaise with Revenue, Forest, Tehsil, District Administration, Mining Department, Zila Panchayat, SDM, Patwari, and other government agencies for approvals and clearances.
- Obtain land records and coordinate land purchase negotiations with private landowners.
- Ensure compliance with applicable State and Central laws, regulations, policies, and statutory requirements.
- Prepare land schedules and acquisition proposals for private, government, and forest land.
- Coordinate with Legal, Corporate Affairs, Land, Survey, Mining, and E&M; teams on land-related matters.
- Prepare and pursue proposals for forest land diversion and Compensatory Afforestation (CA) land procurement.
- Develop proposals relating to Rehabilitation & Resettlement (R&R;) plans for Project Affected People (PAP).




- Ensure completeness and accuracy of land rights documentation and land ownership records.
- Manage stakeholder engagement to support timely land acquisition and smooth project execution.
- Handle all applications and statutory submissions related to Gare Palma IV/8 Coal Block.
- Liaise with State and District authorities to facilitate uninterrupted mining operations.
Key Deliverables - Successful acquisition and documentation of land required for mining operations.
- Timely submission and approval of all land-related applications and proposals.
- Effective coordination with Legal, Corporate Affairs, Land, and Operations teams.
- Strong liaison with government authorities for statutory approvals and operational support.
- Compliance with all land acquisition, forest diversion, and rehabilitation requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential: - MA / M.
Com / MBA / PGDM in any specialization Preferred: - Specialized experience in Land Acquisition and Liaisoning for Coal Mining Projects.
- Solid understanding of State and Central laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Experience Required - Minimum 2–3 years of experience in the Coal Mining Industry.
- Experience working with large organizations, conglomerates, mining companies, or infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience handling government liaison, land documentation, R&R; activities, and stakeholder management.
