Job Description :

A WebMethods & Kubernetes Production Support Engineer is responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting enterprise integrations built on WebMethods, while ensuring high-availability, reliability, and performance of services deployed on Kubernetes (K8s). This role requires strong technical depth, ownership of production stability, and excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities - Required Skills & Experience :

- WebMethods Administration : Manage, configure, and support WebMethods platform and interfaces on K8s.

- WebMethods Expertise : Strong hands-on experience with API GW, IS, UM, MWS, TN, Deployer, AT, WMIO.

- Kubernetes Proficiency : Experience with deployments, services, ingress, config maps, secrets, autoscaling.

- Kubernetes Operations : Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot microservices running on Kubernetes AKS clusters.

- Production Support : Provide L2/L3 support, resolve incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure SLA compliance.

- Linux Administration : Positive command-line and troubleshooting skills.

- CI/CD Pipelines :



Support automated build and deployment of Bamboo pipelines.

- Incident & Change Management : Follow ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management.

- Performance Optimization : Tune WebMethods and Kubernetes workloads for stability and efficiency.

- Documentation & Communication : Create runbooks, SOPs, and communicate clearly with stakeholders, developers, and leadership.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Docker Expertise.

- Scripting : Shell, Python, or Groovy for automation.

- Cloud Platforms : Azure, AWS, or GCP exposure (Azure preferred).

- Networking Fundamentals : DNS, load balancing, firewalls, certificates.

- Monitoring Tools : Experience with logging and monitoring stacks.

- Strong communication skills : Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical teams and collaborate effectively.

- Prior experience in 24x7 production support environments.
