Job Summary

The ANM is responsible for providing basic nursing care, maternal and child healthcare services, immunization support, assisting doctors during patient care, and maintaining nursing standards in accordance with hospital policies.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide basic nursing care to patients.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs.
- Administer prescribed medications and injections.
- Assist doctors during examinations and minor procedures.
- Provide antenatal, postnatal, and newborn care.
- Conduct immunization and vaccination activities.
- Maintain patient records and nursing documentation.
- Ensure infection prevention and sterilization protocols.
- Educate patients and families on hygiene, nutrition, and preventive healthcare.
- Maintain nursing supplies and equipment.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies.
- Follow hospital safety, quality, and infection control protocols.

Qualification

- Diploma in Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM).
- Valid State Nursing Council Registration.

Job Summary

The GNM Staff Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care, administering medications, monitoring patient conditions, assisting physicians, maintaining medical records, and ensuring patient safety and quality healthcare delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess patient condition and prepare nursing care plans.
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to physicians.
- Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and treatments.
- Assist during medical procedures and surgeries.
- Prepare patients for diagnostic tests and operations.




- Maintain nursing documentation and patient records.
- Educate patients regarding treatment and discharge instructions.
- Ensure infection control and patient safety.
- Handle medical emergencies efficiently.
- Coordinate with doctors and healthcare teams.
- Supervise ANMs, nursing assistants, and ward attendants when required.
- Maintain medical equipment and inventory.

3. Job Description – B.Sc. Nursing Staff Nurse

Job Title

Job Summary

The B.Sc. Nursing Staff Nurse is responsible for delivering advanced nursing care, assessing patient needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, administering treatments, supporting critical care services, and ensuring compliance with hospital quality and patient safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform comprehensive patient assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications, IV infusions, blood products, and other prescribed treatments.
- Monitor patients' clinical conditions and respond promptly to emergencies.
- Assist physicians during medical and surgical procedures.
- Operate and monitor medical equipment such as cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, ventilators, and defibrillators (as applicable).
- Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.




- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans, medication, and post-discharge care.
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention, patient safety, and quality protocols.
- Participate in emergency response (Code Blue) and critical care management.
- Mentor junior nursing staff, interns, and trainees.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and NABH/NMC compliance activities.

Qualification

- B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized university.
- Valid State Nursing Council Registration.
- BLS Certification (Mandatory Preferred).
- ACLS Certification (Preferred for ICU/Emergency/Critical Care).

Experience

- Fresher or 1–5 years of clinical experience in hospitals.
- ICU, OT, Emergency, NICU, PICU, CCU, or Dialysis experience preferred for specialized units.
