Senior Data Engineer (GCP)

Experience- 4-8 Years

Key Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience in data engineering with cloud-native environments.
- Strong expertise in GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Composer, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Dataplex, Terraform, Cloud Build).
- Advanced SQL and production-level Python skills.
- Experience with data modelling (Kimball, 3NF, Data Vault), CI/CD, and legacy-to-cloud migrations.
- Proven technical leadership, architecture design, mentoring, and stakeholder communication.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred:

- GCP Professional Data Engineer certification.
- Experience with AI/ML data pipelines, Vertex AI, vector databases, dbt/Dataform.
- Financial services domain experience and event-driven architectures.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, Gemini, Cursor).
