Role & responsibilities

- The incumbent shall be placed in unit for procurement at plant level and shall work closely with Plant Team, Operations, Finance & corporate procurement team
- Candidate is expected to have knowledge of all engineering items - mechanical, electrical, utilities, spares and consumables which shall be part of daily routine industrial purchases.
- Shall also be responsible for RM & PM planning & co-ordination with plant production team & vendors
- Study & understand requirements - PR, identify vendors, make RFQ, maintain quotations, negotiate & make PO, vendor follow ups, rejected materials etc.
- Ensure no stock out situation for RM, PM & EM
- Ensure QCD (right Quality right Cost on time Delivery)
- Knowledge of different order types - ARC, AMC, blanket orders, etc.
- Timely communication to concerned supplier and corporate team for any rejection / deviation with respect to Quality, Cost & Delivery




- Work closely with stake holders like plant engineering team, production team, finance, stores & corporate procurement team.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications

Diploma / B.E / B. Tech (Mechanical/Electrical)

Experience

2 to 5 Years in Procurement / Sourcing

Personality:

- Solid negotiation skills, empathic
- Curiosity to learn constantly and strong ethical bases
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking ability
- Good organizational and people management skills

Software Exposure:

- Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power point, SAP MM, SAP Ariba

Key Roles:

- Tactical Sourcing, Supplier identification & on boarding, Negotiations, Process controls

Target Industry:

FMCG, Processed Foods, Pharma, and Beverages
