Position Overview

We are seeking an accomplished and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the Company's finance function and contribute as a key member of the executive leadership team. The CFO will be responsible for driving financial excellence, strengthening governance, ensuring regulatory compliance, optimizing capital allocation, and supporting sustainable business growth.

The successful candidate will possess strong commercial acumen, exceptional leadership capabilities, and extensive experience in finance management within the jewellery, retail, manufacturing, or luxury goods sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

- Develop and execute the Company's financial strategy in alignment with its long-term vision and business objectives.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the Managing Director and Board on financial planning, investments, business expansion, and risk management.
- Evaluate current business opportunities, capital investments, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives through comprehensive financial analysis.
- Support organizational growth through effective financial planning and resource allocation.

Financial Planning & Performance Management

- Lead the annual budgeting process, long-term financial planning, and rolling forecasts.
- Monitor financial performance through robust MIS, KPI reporting, and variance analysis.
- Drive profitability improvement, cost optimization, and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Ensure effective financial controls to achieve budgetary and business performance objectives.

Treasury & Capital Management

- Oversee treasury operations, cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and working capital optimization.
- Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, and investors.
- Negotiate and administer credit facilities, banking arrangements, and funding requirements.




- Optimize capital structure while ensuring adequate liquidity for business operations.

Financial Reporting, Compliance & Governance

- Ensure timely preparation of accurate financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Maintain full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including GST, Income Tax, Companies Act, and other applicable laws.
- Lead statutory, internal, tax, and cost audits while ensuring timely regulatory filings.
- Strengthen internal financial controls, corporate governance practices, and enterprise risk management frameworks.

Jewellery Finance & Inventory Management

- Oversee accounting, valuation, and reconciliation of gold, diamond, silver, and precious metal inventories.
- Establish effective inventory control mechanisms and bullion accounting procedures.
- Monitor inventory turnover, stock valuation, and inventory-related financial risks.
- Support pricing strategies through financial analysis of commodity price fluctuations and market trends.

Business Process Excellence

- Lead ERP implementation, finance automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Enhance financial reporting systems, internal processes, and operational efficiencies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance and accounting functions.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance and accounts team.
- Promote a culture of accountability, integrity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain effective relationships with auditors, tax consultants, bankers, regulatory authorities, and other key stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory.
- MBA (Finance) or equivalent postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage.

Experience

- 12–20 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting.
- Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role such as CFO, Finance Director, or Head of Finance.
- Prior experience in the jewellery, retail, manufacturing, or luxury goods industry is highly preferred.
