Location : Supa MIDC, Ahilya Nagar, Maharashtra

Role Overview

The Assistant Manager will lead production operations for Prismatic Lithium-ion cell, module, and pack manufacturing, ensuring productivity, quality, manpower management, and automation efficiency across the plant.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage end-to-end production operations of Prismatic cell module assembly lines.
- Oversee operation optimization of Fanuc robotics systems, automated welding, assembly stations.
- Drive production planning (PPC), target achievement, and resource allocation.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, WI, quality standards, and regulatory requirements for EV and BESS systems.
- Implement Lean, Six-Sigma, and automation improvements to enhance throughput and reduce defects.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, SCM, Maintenance, and Automation teams for line performance.
- Monitor OEE, yield, cycle time, and continuous improvement KPIs.
- Lead new line commissioning, process validation, and acceptance testing.




- Handle workforce training, shift management, and safety compliance across the shop floor.

Required Skills
- Robust understanding of Prismatic cell assembly, module/pack design, and automated EV battery manufacturing.
- Proficiency in Fanuc robot handling, program modification, preventive maintenance coordination.
- Experience with laser welding, ultrasonic welding, lamination, aging/formation, BMS integration.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and implement systematic production improvements.
- Excellent data-driven decision-making, reporting, and leadership skills.

Qualification: B.Tech/B.E. Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics.

- 6-8 years of experience in Lithium-ion EV/BESS manufacturing or automated production lines.
