Position: Early Career Academic/Lecturer in Computer Science and Game Design

Location: University of Liverpool - India Campus, Bengaluru, India

Reports to: Associate Dean (Head of Department) of Biomedical Sciences, Computer Science and Game Design - India Campus, Bengaluru

Key responsibilities and duties: Teaching

- Lead and teach modules related to Computer Science and Game Design at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Supervise, mentor and advise students on academic related matters.
- Contribute to module development and design, in addition to both teaching and assessment.
- Contribute to the enhancement of students' experience through academic advising, peer mentoring and student belonging initiatives.

Professional engagement and knowledge exchange
- Work closely with academic organisations in knowledge exchange.
- Build relationships with external professional and industry organisations.

Administration
- Participate in and contribute to the running of activities in the department by undertaking administrative duties as agreed with the Associate Dean.
- To attend relevant academic or management committees.
- Undertake other duties commensurate with the grade as required.

Other skills




- Ability to work co-operatively and effectively with colleagues and show enthusiasm for contributing in general to the department and with colleagues based at the home campus.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
