Role & responsibilities

Work as a MongoDB database engineer supporting technology projects. Work is challenging and will involve working on multiple projects simultaneously and under pressure.

Out of hours and weekend work will sometimes be required. Knowledge and Skills Excellent knowledge in MongoDB database administration

- Essential Excellent knowledge in MongoDB architecture and internals - Essential Excellent knowledge in Replicase cluster

- Essential Excellent knowledge in MongoDB Sharding

- Essential Excellent knowledge in Ops Manager

- Essential Excellent knowledge in Mongo backup/restore mechanisms

- Essential Excellent knowledge in database patching/upgrades

- Essential Excellent knowledge in Performance Tuning

- Essential Good knowledge of Mongo SQL(MQL)

- Essential Good knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems - Essential Valuable knowledge of Agile working practices - Essential Good knowledge of modern automation technologies (e.g. Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform)
