Position: Transmission Line Surveyor
Experience: 2–8 Years
Salary Range: ₹5 LPA – ₹8 LPA
Locations: Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh & Davangere, Karnataka
Company is hiring experienced Transmission Line Surveyors for its ongoing and upcoming power transmission infrastructure projects. The role is crucial in the planning and execution of transmission lines, ensuring accurate route selection and tower placement before construction begins.
Role Overview:
A Transmission Line Surveyor is responsible for conducting field surveys to identify the most suitable route for power transmission lines and determining the exact locations for tower installations. The survey data collected forms the foundation for engineering design and project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct transmission line route surveys and feasibility studies.
- Perform tower spotting and identify optimal tower locations.
- Carry out alignment surveys to ensure accurate transmission line routing.
- Use survey equipment such as DGPS, GPS, Total Station, and Auto Level for field measurements.
- Collect topographical and geographical data and prepare survey reports.
- Coordinate with engineering, design, and project teams for survey-related requirements.
- Ensure survey activities comply with project specifications and safety standards.
Preferred Candidate:
- 2–8 years of experience in transmission line survey projects.
- Experience in 132 kV, 220 kV, 400 kV or higher voltage transmission line projects is preferred.
- Knowledge of route survey, tower spotting, and alignment survey methodologies.
- Willingness to travel and work at project sites.
