Metrion Global is looking for a creative and customer-focused Interior Designer with 2 3 years of experience to handle walk-in customers, understand their requirements, prepare interior designs, coordinate with clients, and ensure timely delivery of design solutions. The candidate will be primarily based at the store and will also be required to attend client visits.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle and interact with walk-in customers at the store and understand their interior design requirements.
- Discuss customer preferences, space requirements, budget, and design expectations.
- Prepare and present interior design concepts, layouts, and design proposals.
- Convert customer requirements into practical and aesthetically appealing designs.
- Coordinate with customers throughout the design process and incorporate necessary modifications.
- Conduct client visits to understand site conditions, take measurements, and discuss requirements.
- Coordinate with the internal team to ensure designs are executed as per customer requirements.
- Ensure the final design and deliverables are completed and delivered to customers on time.
- Follow up with customers regarding design approvals, revisions, and project progress.
- Maintain good customer relationships and provide professional support throughout the process.
- Be available at the store to attend customers and support sales and design activities.
- Maintain records of customer requirements, designs, quotations, and project updates.
- Support the team in achieving customer satisfaction and business targets.
Required Skills
- 2 3 years of experience in Interior Design.
- Strong knowledge of interior design concepts, space planning, and layouts.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to understand and convert customer requirements into designs.
- Knowledge of relevant interior design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, or similar tools.
- Good visualization and creative design skills.
- Willingness to travel for client/site visits when required.
- Robust follow-up and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
- Candidates should be comfortable working from the store and interacting with walk-in customers.
