Job Description Position Overview:
n An Admission Counsellor plays a crucial role in guiding prospective students through the admission process for the institution. They provide information about courses, eligibility, admission criteria, and career prospects, ensuring a smooth and efficient application experience.
n Key Responsibilities:
n n Student Counselling:
n n n Assist and guide prospective students regarding course selection, admission procedures, and career paths.
n Address queries through calls, emails, or in-person meetings.
n Provide clarity on eligibility, fees, scholarships, and financial aid.
n n n Application and Admission Process:
n n n Help students complete application forms and collect required documents.
n Follow up with students to ensure timely submission of applications.
n Coordinate with the admissions team to process applications efficiently.
n n n Lead Generation and Follow-ups:
n n n Generate leads through online/offline marketing campaigns, referrals, and partnerships.
n Maintain a database of potential students and conduct regular follow-ups.
n n n Collaboration with Institutions:
n n n Liaise with universities, colleges, or coaching centers to facilitate admissions.
n Stay updated with admission policies,



program changes, and industry trends.
n n n Event Management & Outreach:

n Prepare reports on lead conversions and admission progress.
n n Skills & Qualifications:
n n Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferred in Education, Business, Marketing, or a related field).
n Experience: 1-3 years in academic counselling, admissions, or a related field (freshers with strong communication skills may also apply).
