Job Description Position: Design Engineer – OFC / CATV / OPGW Cable Design
n Department: Engineering & Product Development
n Location: Khordha, Odisha (Preferred)
n Experience: 2–5 Years
n Industry :Optical Fibre Cable Manufacturing
n Reporting To Head – Engineering & Product
n Qualification: B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical/ECE/Mechanical or equivalent. Diploma with
n relevant experience may also be considered.
n Key Responsibilities
n • Design OFC, CATV and OPGW cable constructions.
n • Prepare drawings, BOMs and technical datasheets.
n • Calculate dimensions, tensile strength and material requirements.
n • Use CAD for cable cross-sections.
n • Ensure compliance with IEC, ITU-T, BIS, BSNL, Railway and Utility standards.
n • Support production trials, testing, tendering and product improvement.
n • Coordinate with Procurement and resolve technical issues.
n Technical Skills
n OFC, CATV, OPGW, Loose Tube, Tight Buffer, ADSS basics, Armoured/Unarmoured cables,




n FRP selection, BOM, AutoCAD/DraftSight/SolidWorks, MS Excel.
n Key Competencies

n Documentation, Communication and Continuous Improvement.
n Responsibilities in Product Development
n Develop new designs, optimize products, evaluate raw materials, support prototypes,
n coordinate NABL testing and prepare technical approvals.
