n We're Hiring Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Reciprocating Compressors
n Experience: 6+ Yrs
n Location: Hyderabad
n We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design and development of high-performance multi-cylinder reciprocating compressors with integrated 75kW motors for HVAC and refrigeration applications.
n Key Responsibilities
n Design and develop compressor assemblies, including crankcase, crankshaft, pistons, connecting rods, and valve plates using SolidWorks.
n Create 3D CAD models, layouts, component stack-ups, and detailed manufacturing drawings.
n Design pressure-containing ductile iron castings/housings for operating pressures up to 28 bar (2.8 MPa).
n Develop motor cooling solutions (suction gas or water/glycol cooling systems).
n Engineer advanced lubrication systems, including oil pumps, channels, filtration,



and oil separation.
n Support and guide FEA and CFD activities for structural integrity, fatigue, pulsation, and gas-flow optimization.
n Requirements
n Solid expertise in SolidWorks and GD&T.;
n Experience in reciprocating compressor, HVAC, refrigeration, or rotating equipment design.
n In-depth knowledge of Ammonia (R717) refrigeration systems and safety practices.
n Understanding of hermetic/semi-hermetic motor design, thermal management, and sealing technologies.
n Strong knowledge of ductile iron/aluminum castings, precision machining, and valve assembly design.
