PRODUCTION & OPERATIONS - PRODUCTION & OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT

Main Goal

Purpose and Job Summary:

To control the critical to quality parameters like. sampling Audit, Physical Purity, Physical appearance, thousand seed weight and Seed moisture tests following ISTA and HM Clause protocols in operations monitoring all aspects of the test that could affect results, and all supporting activities.

Job description

Principal Duties and responsibilities:
• Perform Sampling Audit, physical appearance, Physical purity, seed moisture, thousand seed weight testing in accordance with established policies and procedures.



Overall Plant Operations internal quality checks. Seed coating verification, chemical doses verification/audit internal, disinfection, cold storage temp & RH.
• Perform testing of Non seed materials like Thick of Corrugated box, GSM, printing quality of laminates, stress test on pouches, Seal integrity test…etc.
•Record results all the tests in JDE and company quality systems
• Maintain a clean, healthy and safe working environment
in compliance with Environmental Safety and Health guidelines and 5S practices.
• Must also attend trainings and wear appropriate PPE.
•Perform all duties with a high level of accuracy to maintain the integrity of quality results.
•Provides support to inventory and operations when asked
•Complete assigned tasks in a timely, effective, safe and effective manner.

Stake holders, Inventory/ Non-Seed Assistant/Processing/Reception Officer/Supervisor, Planning Officer.

Profile

Graduation in Engineering/Agriculture/any other field
4 years or more experience in Process/ seed industry
