Job Description:

Position: Sr. Product Designer

Location: Marol - Mumbai

Experience: 5 - 8 Years

Industries: Plastic

Responsibilities:

- Design and develop new products from concept stage to production.
- Create innovative, functional, and market-relevant product solutions.
- Prepare product concepts, sketches, 3D models, renders, and technical drawings.
- Coordinate closely with mould makers, tool rooms, vendors, and production teams during product development.
- Discuss product feasibility, costing, manufacturing challenges, and improvements with management.
- Take ownership of product development timelines and execution.
- Conduct material, functionality, ergonomics, and manufacturing feasibility evaluations.
- Work with cross-functional teams including marketing, production, procurement, and quality departments.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to future product strategies and innovations.
- Review prototypes, trial samples, and mould developments to ensure design accuracy and functionality.




- Suggest design improvements and value engineering opportunities for existing products.

Required Skills

- Robust technical understanding of manufacturing processes, preferablym plastics, furniture, or consumer durable products.

- Experience in communicating and coordinating with mould makers and production teams.

- Proficiency in design software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360, Rhino, Creo, or similar tools.

- Good understanding of product aesthetics, ergonomics, and engineering feasibility.

- Ability to independently take decisions and drive product development projects.

- Strong communication and presentation skills.

- Creative mindset with practical problem-solving abilities.

Required Qualification: - Diploma/B.E/B.Tech - Mechanical

Salary :- Upto 8.00 LPA
