n About the Role
n This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain international accounting experience by working directly with Recent Zealand clients.
n You will receive structured, paid training in New Zealand accounting standards, taxation, and business practices, with ongoing mentoring and support from our experienced accounting team.
n Your responsibilities will include:
n * Preparing annual financial statements
n * Preparing GST returns
n * Preparing income tax returns
n * Bookkeeping
n * Payroll processing
n * Bank reconciliations
n * Preparing working papers
n * Reviewing financial information
n * Assisting senior & other accountants
n * Communicating with clients via email
n * Maintaining accurate client records

n What We're Looking For
n The ideal candidate will:
n * Hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field
n * Have accounting experience (preferred)
n * Have strong written and spoken English communication skills
n * Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and accuracy




n * Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
n * Be able to manage deadlines and work independently
n * Be a positive team player with a willingness to learn
n * Be proficient in Microsoft Excel
n * Have experience with Xero or other accounting software (advantage but not essential)
n Recent graduates with excellent academic results and strong communication skills may also be considered.

n * Monday to Saturday (Saturdays negotiable)
