Job Description:

Job Summary:

Responsible for the design, development, and engineering of high-load material handling equipment including hydraulic goods lifts, scissor lifts, stackers, dock levelers, dock ramps, pallet trucks, and other heavy fabricated industrial products. The role involves creating accurate 3D models, customer proposal drawings, and detailed production/manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks while ensuring structural strength, functionality, safety, and manufacturability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop:
- Hydraulic Goods Lifts
- Scissor Lifts
- Manual/Electric Stackers
- Dock Levelers
- Dock Ramps
- Pallet Trucks
- Heavy-duty fabricated industrial equipment

- Create:

- 3D models and assemblies in SolidWorks
- 2D customer approval drawings
- Detailed fabrication drawings
- Manufacturing drawings
- BOMs (Bill of Materials)
- Assembly drawings
- GA drawings

- Perform load calculations, strength analysis,



and design validation for high-capacity structures.
- Design fabricated structures considering:

- Load distribution
- Structural integrity
- Safety factors
- Ease of manufacturing
- Installation feasibility

- Work closely with production, purchase, service, and installation teams.
- Select suitable:

- Hydraulic cylinders
- Hydraulic power packs
- Bearings
- Chains
- Rollers
- Structural materials

- Optimize designs for cost, quality, durability, and efficiency.
- Develop customer-specific customized solutions.
- Support troubleshooting and design improvements for existing products.
- Ensure compliance with safety and industrial engineering standards.
- Maintain engineering documentation and revision control.
