Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

- Visit customers to address queries, deliver technical presentations, and gather requirements.
- Review customer specifications and develop design drawings using CAD and Simulation software.
- Estimate total cost of Bill of Materials (BOM) and production; prepare techno-commercial offers.
- Develop and implement recent product development plans aligned with market needs and regulations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market needs through literature review and conferences.
- Study patents and technical literature for innovation opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal and global counterparts for knowledge sharing and improvement.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the design engineering team, including training.
- Ensure compliance with product standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct hazard identification, risk analysis, and mitigation plans.
- Maintain compliance with safety norms during design development.
- Prepare and submit technical presentations, reports, and maintain accurate records.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost-saving initiatives.




- Review and analyze design change notes, bill of materials, and work orders.
- Develop and maintain a knowledge data bank for design guidelines and technical documents.
- Conduct training sessions for team members based on the skill matrix.
- Define roles, responsibilities, and reporting relationships for department members.
- Participate in the hiring process and submit manpower requirements.
- Prepare Departmental Goal sheets and Individual goal sheet also prepare, review and present monthly MIS report to Management.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.

10-14 years of experience in Engineering & Design Department, with proficiency in Solidworks software.

Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

In-depth knowledge of product standards and regulatory requirements.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Experience in process improvement, cost-saving initiatives, and risk analysis.
