These roles focus on on-the-job training, assisting senior engineers, and developing technical skills in production, maintenance, quality control, and metallurgy. Job Summary

- Position Type: Full time, Trainee (0–1 year experience).
- Industry: Steel Manufacturing/Metallurgy.
- Key Departments: Production, Mechanical Maintenance, Electrical Maintenance, Quality Control (QC), and Metallurgy.
- Objective: To acquire hands-on experience, learn company-specific processes, and contribute to daily manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Production & Operations: Assist in daily shop floor manufacturing operations, monitoring production processes, and optimizing output.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair equipment in the Steel Melting Shop (SMS) or Rolling Mills.
- Quality Control (QC): Conduct laboratory testing using destructive and non-destructive techniques to ensure metal properties and products meet quality standards.
- Documentation: Prepare technical reports, update logs, and maintain records of production, maintenance, and quality inspections.
- Safety Adherence: Strictly follow all safety protocols, ISO standards,



and environmental regulations.
- Project Support: Assist senior engineers with project installations, commissioning, and technical drawings.

Required Qualifications
- GET (Graduate Engineer Trainee): Bachelor's degree (BE/B.Tech) in Mechanical, Electrical, Metallurgical, or Electronics Engineering.
- DET (Diploma Engineer Trainee): Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Metallurgy from a recognized polytechnic.
- Experience: Fresher to 1 year of experience.
- Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD (for design roles), knowledge of PLC/SCADA (for electrical/automation), understanding of material science, and strong analytical skills.

Required Skills
- Technical: Basic understanding of steelmaking processes (DRI, EAF, Rolling), maintenance practices, and metallurgical testing.
- Soft Skills: Good communication, teamwork, ability to work in shifts, problem-solving abilities, and a high willingness to learn.
