Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Design & Engineering

- Conduct detailed AC & DC design calculations, system sizing, and electrical engineering for solar PV plants.
- Prepare and review BOM (Bill of Materials), single-line diagrams (SLDs), GA drawings, earthing & lightning protection layouts.
- Perform load analysis, cable sizing, inverter configuration, and structural checks.
- Carry out ROI analysis, energy yield assessments, and electricity bill studies to determine optimal plant capacity.
- Work on AutoCAD, Google SketchUp, PVsyst, and related industry design tools.

1. Review & Documentation

- Analyze site survey reports and integrate findings into technical designs.
- Prepare Scope of Work (SOW) for contractors and vendors.
- Ensure all drawings and documents meet technical standards, compliance codes, and project specifications.
- Prepare accurate costing sheets supporting the sales, proposals, and EPC teams.

1. Site & Project Coordination

- Conduct site visits (if required) to verify installation quality and design adherence.
- Work closely with project execution, procurement,



and quality teams to support smooth implementation.
- Guide site teams on design compliance and troubleshoot design-related challenges.

1. Leadership & Collaboration

- Work as a proactive individual contributor with strong ownership.
- Mentor junior engineers and oversee quality of design deliverables.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support bids, tenders, and proposals.

Qualifications & Skills

- Preferably B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- Minimum 6 years of solar design & engineering experience.
- Strong command of AutoCAD, PVsyst, Google SketchUp, and other solar design software.
- ⚡ In-depth experience in both Rooftop (mandatory for large projects) and Ground Mounted systems (preferred).
- Robust analytical skills, accuracy in calculations, and attention to detail.
- Smart, confident, proactive, with team-handling experience.
- Excellent documentation, reporting, and technical communication skills.
