Position Overview:

We are one of the largest independent CPA and business advisory firms in Northern Recent England. Our office in India is seeking a Tax Staff Accountant who will be responsible for the preparation of stand-alone business tax returns, financial statement related tax returns, individual tax returns and some light tax research.

What you’ll do:
• Works on various tax preparation projects under direct supervision of a superior (depending on the tax return, the supervisor could be a Senior Accountant, Supervisor, Manager, Senior Manager or Partner).
• Prepares business and personal income tax returns; including tax returns for some financial statement related returns.
• Performs light research projects in the area of taxation, including payroll and sales tax.




• Communicates with clients regarding information needed or clarification of issues.
• Actively pursue CPA certification.

Preferred Skills, Experience and Education:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or another relevant field required.
• Proficient in use of computers and basic software applications
• Above average written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to perform under time pressure and meet deadlines
• Ability to work overtime periodically throughout the year; mainly between mid-January and mid-April.
