Job Description:

Position: Asst./Dy. Manager - Electrical

Location: Hajipir - Kutch

Experience: 8 - 10 Years

Industries: Chemical

Responsibilities:

- Maintenance & Operations
- Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance
- Maintain:
- Motors (HT/LT)
- Transformers
- Switchgear (HT/LT panels)
- MCCs (Motor Control Centers)
- VFDs and soft starters
- Ensure maximum equipment uptime and reliability
- Troubleshooting & Breakdown Handling
- Diagnose electrical faults quickly
- Implement corrective actions
- Lead emergency repairs to reduce production loss
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA)
- Implement preventive measures
- Project & Installation Work
- Execute electrical projects:
- New equipment installation
- Plant expansion/modifications
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors
- Ensure adherence to timelines, budget, and quality
- Safety & Compliance
- Follow electrical safety standards
- Ensure compliance with hazardous area requirements
- Handle flameproof equipment standards
- Follow statutory regulations
- Conduct safety audits and risk assessments
- Promote secure practices (LOTO, PPE)
- Documentation & Reporting




- Maintain records of:
- Maintenance activities
- Equipment history
- Energy consumption
- Prepare reports on:
- Downtime
- Failures
- Improvements
- Energy Management
- Monitor power consumption
- Optimize energy usage
- Implement energy-saving initiatives
- Improve power factor and load distribution
- Team Management
- Supervise technicians and electricians
- Assign daily maintenance work
- Train and develop team skills
- Coordination
- Work with production, mechanical, and instrumentation teams
- Plan shutdown and maintenance schedules

Required Skills

Required Qualification: - B.E/B.Tech - Electrical
