Job Description: A Process Shift Incharge (DRI 100TPD) is responsible for overseeing the production process during their shift in a 100-ton per day (TPD) Direct Reduced Iron (DRI) plant. This role involves coordinating operations, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the smooth and efficient production of DRI. Key Responsibilities:

- Supervising and coordinating production: Overseeing the work of plant operators, technicians, and maintenance staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Production planning and execution: Planning daily tasks, prioritizing work, and assigning responsibilities based on skill levels and workload.
- Process monitoring and optimization: Monitoring plant performance indicators, implementing corrective actions, and optimizing production efficiency and quality standards.
- Equipment maintenance: Ensuring proper maintenance of plant equipment, including rotary kilns, coolers, and compressors.
- Quality control: Ensuring adherence to quality standards for DRI production.
- Safety and setting: Ensuring adherence to safety, environment, and health standards.
- Team leadership:



Developing and motivating the team to achieve production goals.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving: Addressing any operational issues and finding solutions to technical problems.

Specific Tasks:
- Raw material handling: Overseeing the handling and processing of raw materials, including pellets and coal, used in the DRI process.
- Kiln operation: Monitoring and controlling the rotary kiln operation, including temperature, radiation, and accretion profile inside the kiln.
- Pollution control: Ensuring compliance with pollution control regulations.
- Shutdown maintenance: Ensuring proper shutdown maintenance is performed according to schedule.
- Modification of process parameters: Making adjustments to process parameters to optimize production.
- Housekeeping and coordination: Ensuring proper housekeeping and coordinating with workers.
