Job Description: A Senior Engineer in Process Control Inspection is a technical leadership role responsible for ensuring manufacturing processes and products comply with quality standards, engineering specifications, and safety regulations. They drive continuous improvement, manage inspection systems, and analyze data to prevent defects. Key Responsibilities & Duties

- Inspection & Testing Strategy: Develop, review, and maintain in-process inspection sheets, Final Inspection Plans (FIP), and Pre-Dispatch Inspection (PDI) protocols.
- Process Compliance & Auditing: Conduct audits for in-process inspections to ensure adherence to control plans and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Quality Management & CAPA: Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and lead root cause analysis (RCA) investigations to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Data Analysis & Improvement: Analyze quality performance metrics, such as rejections and re-work rates, using Statistical Process Control (SPC) to identify trends and process improvement opportunities.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare and manage PPAP documentation, technical drawings,



Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), and material test certificates.
- Vendor Quality Support: Coordinate with vendors for technical clarifications, drawing reviews, and material specifications, supporting inward quality control (IQC).
- Leadership & Training: Mentor junior engineers/technicians on NDT techniques, metrology, and inspection methods.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Generally 5–8+ years in Quality Control, Manufacturing, or Process Engineering.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of ASME codes, ISO standards (9001, 13485), and NDT techniques (RT, PT, VT).
- Software Proficiency: Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred), AutoCAD, and Statistical software (e.g., Minitab).
- Tools: Familiarity with precision measurement tools (CMM, Keyence Optical Comparators) and GD&T.;
