Job Description – NPI Engineer


Position Summary


We are seeking a skilled and detail -oriented Manufacturing NPI Engineer to support product manufacturing activities from customer requirement analysis through process implementation and production support. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, hands -on manufacturing experience, and excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities


- Understand customer product requirements and design manufacturing processes to meet quality, cost, and delivery expectations.

- Prepare and maintain manufacturing process flow documents and work instructions.

- Create and manage Bill of Materials (BOM) and upload/update data in ERP systems.

- Design and develop production jigs and fixtures to improve manufacturing efficiency and consistency.

- Implement Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and ensure all updates are properly documented and executed.

- Resolve technical and process -related queries with customers and internal stakeholders.

- Manage product configuration and maintain accurate configuration records.

- Coordinate customer communication related to manufacturing processes, engineering updates, and production status.

- Support First Article Inspection (FAI)



activities and drive process improvements to achieve high production yield.

- Collaborate with production, quality, procurement, and engineering teams to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.


Required Skills & Qualifications

- Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and engineering practices.

- Proven work experience in the manufacturing industry.

- Good understanding of BOM management, ERP systems, ECN implementation, and configuration management.

- Experience in jig and fixture development.

- Robust problem -solving and analytical skills.

- Good verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and in cross -functional teams.


Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

- Experience with FAI documentation and production validation processes.

- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement practices is an advantage.
