Job Description – Senior Technical Delivery Manager
(Scrum & Agile Focus)

This role blends traditional project management
responsibilities (scope, budget, timeline) with the coaching and facilitation
required of a Scrum Master.
Job
Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project
Manager with a strong background in Agile/Scrum methodologies to
lead and successfully deliver complex software development projects. The ideal
candidate will balance the traditional project management duties of planning
and risk management with the servant leadership required to coach and enable
high -performing development teams.
Key
Responsibilities
Project
Planning & Delivery
- Scope & Goal Management: Define, manage, and communicate
project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with the Product
Owner and stakeholders.
- Schedule & Budget: Develop and maintain
detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets; track key project
milestones and resource allocation.
- Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify, analyze,
and mitigate project risks and impediments; develop contingency plans and
escalate critical issues to stakeholders as necessary.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular, transparent project
status reports, roadmaps, and performance metrics (e.g., burn -down charts,
velocity) to senior management and external clients.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all project deliverables meet
defined quality standards and align with business objectives.
Agile
Leadership & Scrum Facilitation
- Scrum Master Functions: Fully facilitate all Scrum
ceremonies,
including Daily Stand -ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint
Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
- Team Coaching: Coach and mentor the development team and key
stakeholders on Agile principles, values, and the proper implementation of
the Scrum framework.
- Impediment Removal: Act as a servant leader to the team,
actively working to remove obstacles and distractions that
impede the team's ability to achieve its sprint goals.
- Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement efforts
using insights from Retrospectives to increase team effectiveness,
velocity, and quality.
- Backlog Management Support: Work with the Product Owner /
Engineering Lead to ensure the Project Backlog is groomed,
prioritized, and clearly defined (user stories, acceptance criteria).
Stakeholder
& Team Management
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain consistent and effective
communication with all internal and external stakeholders, managing
expectations and ensuring alignment on project progress and changes.
- Resource Coordination: Coordinate efforts across multiple
cross -functional teams (Development, QA, UX/UI, Operations) to ensure
seamless integration and dependencies are met.
- Team Health: Foster a collaborative, trusting, and
high -energy working environment.
Required
Qualifications & Experience
- Location - Gurgaon
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science,
Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience managing software
development projects, with a significant track record of delivering
complex, enterprise -level solutions.
- Agile Expertise: Proven, in -depth experience practicing and
coaching Scrum and other Agile methodologies (e.g., Kanban).
- Tools Proficiency: Expert proficiency with Agile and project
management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Trello, or Azure DevOps.
Essential
Certifications
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Qualified Scrum
Master (PSM I/II) is required.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI -ACP) is highly
desirable.
