Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Statistician with demonstrated expertise in supporting Original Research Articles, Narrative Reviews, Systematic Literature Reviews (SLRs), Meta -Analyses, and Network Meta -Analyses (NMAs) through robust statistical planning, evidence synthesis, and quantitative analysis.
The candidate will be responsible for end -to -end statistical support, including feasibility assessment, analysis planning, data validation, meta -analysis execution, NMA modelling, and interpretation of analytical findings.
Key areas of expertise should include:
• Statistical support for original clinical and observational research
• Systematic Literature Reviews (SLRs)
• Pairwise Meta -analysis
• Network Meta -analysis (NMA)
• Indirect Treatment Comparisons (ITC)
• Meta -regression and sensitivity analyses
• Heterogeneity assessment and interpretation
• Publication bias assessment
• Consistency and transitivity assessment in NMA
• Statistical Analysis Plan (SAP) development
• Data validation and analysis -ready dataset preparation
• Generation of forest plots, funnel plots, network diagrams, league tables, rankograms, and SUCRA rankings
• Statistical interpretation for manuscripts, reports, and publications
Technical expertise:
• R (mandatory) • STATA (preferred) • Experience with Bayesian and/or Frequentist NMA frameworks • Experience with WinBUGS, OpenBUGS, JAGS, or equivalent platforms is desirable
Experience:
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in biostatistics, epidemiology, HEOR, or evidence synthesis
• Demonstrated experience independently conducting Meta -analysis and Network Meta -analysis projects
• Publication support experience preferred
